The story of Carlitos and the trees he planted

Carlitos, the boy who is portrayed on our GlobalGiving page is now 10 years old! He is growing along with the trees he planted six years ago with his parents. He continues accompanying his mom and dad during the yearly reforestations and enjoys every minute of it. In an interview he told us that reforesting is very important because, “some people cut trees and don’t plant any new ones and then we would be left with no trees at all.”  Carlitos is an example of how reforestations not only helps restore the forest but also raises awareness about the importance of planting trees.
